      Hello together

For some test scenarios i might need both functions igmp proxy and pimd between two networks.
I am running the latest 2.5 Vendor: coreboot
      Version: v4.13.0.1
Release Date: Wed Nov 25 2020
      Version 2.5.1-RELEASE (amd64)
built on Mon Apr 12 07:50:14 EDT 2021
      FreeBSD 12.2-STABLE

The system is on the latest version.

When PIMD is running, i am not able to start igmp proxy as well.
In the past I have setup such scenarios with routers and both functions works fine in parallel.

But on pfsense it seems not to work correctly. Maybe this behaviour is by design or can someone give a hint where is my misunderstanding or maybe where to look deeper.

      many thanx for help

@thiamata I believe both are independent of each other; so, what you're experiencing maybe a conflict. I could not find a pfSense/Netgate document specifically; however, these may shed some light.

Is it for IPTV in your scenario?
