Netgate 2100 bricked on upgrade
-
Received the Netgate 2100 today; was able to configure fine until I did the upgrade which bricked the unit. Can anyone confirm the console settings I am using 9600-8-1-N and it does not look to be displaying anything but c and then some other unreadable text using Putty.
Retail sale so do not have support contract but zero to whatever(Tax Lite) but there is no one to talk too unless I shell out another $400 seems a bit steep for retail, which bricks on upgrade and never used. While it says that the LITE will bring you through a few scenarios, firmware upgrade should be first task after internet readied.
Anyone have some thoughts. Also looked at downloading firmware but given two options AMD64 (this is an Dual core ARM Cortex A53 processor @ 1.2GHz not an AMD/Intel chip so Netgate ADI
"For some amd64 SG-series firewalls from the Netgate Store, specifically, models which contain a USB console port on COM2. "
Not clear what Netgate ADI includes product wise would this be difficult to list in the instructions? -

Yup we will always help you recover by re-installing if you need to, you don't need support for that. Just open a ticket if you haven't already:
