NAT to Web Server running on WAN
-
Hi,
I am novice to pfsense and network topologies.
I have following setup and pfsense is running in almost default mode. I just have pfBlokerNG installed and running in default mode.Modem --> WAN Router --> PfSense -> LAN & IOT Routers
I have a web server running on one of the WAN IP address.
When I visit my site while connected to one of the LAN or IOT router, it just times out.
As soon as I switch to the WAN router, site resolves fine.I am sure that pfSense is blocking it but I don't know where to start and what rules needs to be defined so that I can access my web server running outside of pfSense on WAN.
I would not like to bring that web server inside my LAN and punch a hole into my firewall as much as possible.
Can someone please suggest me how can I achieve that?
Reading about NAT seems really foreign to me. By making some stupid change, I don't want to break my pfsense setup and internet to the house. Thanks alot.

Does each of these routers NAT?

Where is the WAN IP assigned to? To the WAN router, inside or outside?
