      Hello
I am thinking of buying 3100 or 6100.
I have a 19" rack with some Ubiquiti equipment.

Is there a way to insert the 3100/6100 in a rack? Some kind of adapter maybe?

I have an SG-3100 in a church wall-mounted rack. I just put a 1U shelf module into the rack and sat the SG-3100 on the shelf. Works well enough. I would strongly suggest using a ventilated shelf and rack, though.

I used either this one, or one very similar if I recall -- (bought if off Amazon)

@slu Pretty much the same as the others.
Just remember they are passively cooled so you need airflow.

Tnx for the link! Did you just put the 3100 on that shelf or did you somehow fix it there (screws, tape, etc)?

I just placed it on the shelf. It either had little rubber foot pads already installed, or they came in the box as the peel-n-stick type. It's in an equipment closet within the rack, so I wasn't really concerned with it getting moved around.

Oh, they have one for the 5100 as well. It's 1.37U tall which is just a little odd, but otherwise seems slick.
