      Good morning

We are planing to use a cluster PFsense Solution for our Datacenters. I tried now to setup a testing enviorement on 2 new Servers. They use a mirroring  with a Adaptec 5405 Controller witch was not yet supported under bsd 6.2. Now, I went into a problem when I tried to setup the pfsense. I tried also to load a new kernelmodul from aac but that went into a failure because it was allready inside the kernel. I was googeling arround to find a solution or the sources to compile them by myself but i couldn't find anything, only the cvs root but protected with a user / pass.

Now, is there a different solution or where can I find the sources ?

      Thank you

      Hannes

5405 seems to be supported in 7.0 http://www.freebsd.org/releases/7.0R/hardware.html
        So try a snapshot http://blog.pfsense.org/?p=207

great, it works  ;) … There is a release schedule Plan (wiki) but not yet updated ... Do you know when PfSense based on BSD 7 will be released stable ?

                haha

1.2.1 is just about there. Only issue is possible wireless problems and there may be some packages that still do not function. It's labeled RC now for a reason, it's absolutely stable aside from wireless in some configurations and maybe some packages.
