      Hi,

      I've just upgrades from Version 2.3 to 2.3.1.
      Unfortunately FreeRadius 1.7.3_1 is not starting any more. Nothing in the Logs. Restart of the box won't help.

      I've checked this Forum…
      https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=109724.0
      but there is no radiusd_start.lock file in tmp.

      But I can start it via console : [2.3.1-RELEASE][xxx@xxx]/usr/local/etc/rc.d: ./radiusd onestart

      Any Suggestions ?

      Thanks!

        Happens to me to. After upgrade freeradius doesn't start.

        Trying to kill radiusd process but nothing. After that i try remove package and stay stuck on execution (whatever command) search for freeradius process, not radiusd, trying to kill this stuff (removing the package) i ended with a successful installed, package previously shows as "configured but not (fully) installed" package by killing one of the processes (/usr/local/bin/php -f /etc/rc.packages pfSense-pkg-freeradius2 POST-INSTALL ). Is not a mistake i try remove and the package now appears as installed.

        pfSense:
        ASRock -> Wolfdale1333-D667 (2GB TeamElite Ram)
        Marvell 88SA8040 Sata to CF(Sandisk 4GB) Controller
        NIC's: RTL8100E (Internal ) and Intel® PRO/1000 PT Dual (Intel 82571GB)
