      Running pf v2.3.1 on a Intel Quad Core @ 2.4GHz w/ 2GB RAM

Since v2.3, I have been seeing the following error:

here were error(s) loading the rules: /tmp/rules.debug:63: cannot define table pfB_Top_v4: Cannot allocate memory - The line in question reads [63]: table <pfB_Top_v4> persist file "/var/db/aliastables/pfB_Top_v4.txt"

Memory consumption of the pfSense appliance is always around 55%.

The error seems to indicate that pfSense was not able to allocate enough memory to load up the pfBlocket Top_4.

Anyone seen this or is aware of a resolution?

      Thanks!
