Rebranding

Hi!

Is there a guide on how to rebrand version 2.3.1? I'd like to rebrand the GUI and also the info/naming during boot.
In 2.2 this was quite a task as it needed hex editor changes of the image.

Does anyone know about a guide or detailed information about how the GUI/image rebranding should be done on 2.3.1?
