Pkg installation failed!

  • Hi folks  :) ,

For the next 5 weeks I have to do a project on pfsense for my internship. I'm totally new on pfsense and now I have a problem.

I searched on the forum and on google but I didn't find any working solutions about that, so here's the thing : I need to install 2 packages so I can set an URL filter with squid and an intrusion prevention system with snort.

I'm trying to install these 2 packages with the webGUI and it's not working.

I got this error on my screen each time I'm trying and I have absolutely no idea why :

    Installing pfSense-pkg-snort…
    Updating pfSense-core repository catalogue...
    Unable to update repository pfSense-core
    Updating pfSense repository catalogue...
    Unable to update repository pfSense
    All repositories are up-to-date.
The following 9 package(s) will be affected (of 0 checked):

    New packages to be INSTALLED:
    pfSense-pkg-snort: [pfSense]
    barnyard2: 1.13 [pfSense]
    broccoli: 1.97,1 [pfSense]
    GeoIP: 1.6.9 [pfSense]
    mysql56-client: 5.6.30 [pfSense]
    snort: [pfSense]
    luajit: 2.0.4 [pfSense]
    daq: 2.0.6 [pfSense]
    libdnet: 1.12_1 [pfSense]

The process will require 56 MiB more space.
    4 MiB to be downloaded.

I hope you can help me with that, thank you.

PS: Sorry for my bad english, I was pretty tired when I wrote that.

Edit : Nevermind I found the solution, the firewall of the enterprise was blocking the installation.
