      Hey guys,

I have to give a IP inside a VLAN a public IP.
For this I would use 1:1 NAT, as I always do without problems.

Now, a colleague came to me and said, that its possible to define on pfsense that I can have public IPs directly on the local side. On LAN or in my case inside an VLAN.

I told him that I can't believe it because all public IP connect to WAN, how should it come to the LAN interface, without NAT?

I am right or is there such a way to achieve that?

      Best wishes
