Just an heads up, the Squid package seems to have been badly compiled  for this last version of PFSense, if you want it to work, stay on older versions where was installing without problems….
      :(

It's not broken. You apparently have some remnants of the old package pre-upgrade around, though the post-upgrade should automatically clean all that up. Run this:

        find / -type l -lname '/usr/pbi/*' -delete

        then reinstall, does that work?

Thanks for trying but it did not work.
If this last release of PFSense it's not broken, then it must to be the Squid to no longer be compatible with PFSense.
I executed the command line you posted, then it was looking as it was accepted because after a few seconds PFSense showed the same line in a green colour on top of the command line, so i reinstalled as suggested but i keep having exactly the same problem, it could NOT rename the chinese's folder….
Anything else i could try before going back to PFSense 2.0.2???

The package is fine, you have leftovers from an older install laying around like cmb said.

              Try this:

              1. Remove the package if any parts of it are left (including lightsquid and squidguard)

              rm -rf /usr/local/etc/squid/

              3. Reinstall the package

Yesss that did the trick, thank you so much mate, that was a huge relieve!  :D

I got this thing after it, i am not sure if i should be bothered by it or not, for the time being i will just disregard it and try to configure the thing in a way that suit my needs, cheerio!

                  Message from pfSense-pkg-squid-0.4.18:
Please visit Services - Squid Proxy Server menu to configure the package and enable the proxy.

                  Cleaning up cache… done.
                  Success

                  Thank you!

That error was already covered previously in the thread, you need to clean up some leftovers from an old installation:

                                rm -rf /usr/local/etc/squid/
