      Hi All,

I'm encountering a problem, my PfSense box is crashing every 24/48 hours. Before 2.3.1 my box was crashing one time by half year or year, so it's a lot more since 2.3.1.

Can somebody help me to find where the problem can be please ? As attached text file, you can see my latest crash log (I'm unable to put it between CODE, I think it's too much characters)

Thanks in advance for your help.

      Best regards,
      Alex.

Doesn't look familiar. That's a 64 bit CPU, so you should really be running 64 bit. That's much more widely-used and tested at this point, and it could be an issue only with 32 bit. Appears it might be something in pf table manipulation. If you can submit more crash reports to compare that would help to at least know whether they look similar at all.

Regardless though, I'd switch to 64 bit.

          Hi cmb,

Thank you for your reply !

OMG, I had not noticed about change from 64 bits to 32 Bits, why during the update to 2.3.1 PfSense switch from 64 bits to 32 Bits ?

This is probably why all my RRD Data was lost since 2.3.1 upgrade ?

Except a clean install, is any other way to switch from 32 to 64 Bits (I know it wasn't possible before, maybe you did change something about) ?

          Thanks again for your reply.

          Brest regards,
          Alex.

You had the update URL hard coded to the wrong thing in your config in that case. Yes that's also why your RRD data is gone. Reinstall and restore config is the best thing. It's no longer possible to switch architectures even if you force it, so that can't happen again in the future.
