Trying to activate the IPV6 DHCP server and when I enter a dhcp range, it says it is out of range.  The strange thing is that the subnet for my IPV6 is blank.  I have a He.net  IP and the services indicate that they are up and running. see images below.

Can somebody tell me what I am missing?  Thanks

Yeah - I use them too and I had to assign a subnet and I have the subnet mask set to 64 bits

And prefix delegation size to 64….  If you are getting a /48 from HE?

if you have a /48 from HE then yeah have a shit load of /64's to use - pick 1 to put on this segment.  Just use the first 1..

                Basically - yes.

I assign a /64 for each VPN instance, each "LAN" etc etc.

As to what you set as the range, it depends completely on what you were assigned by HE.

Also, you have to set up the firewall to use IPV6 at all and you have to secure it.
