I have an existing monowall box. I have booted pfSense from livecd on this box, and configured it identically and it works fine - so long as I boot the pfSense kernel with ACPI off.

How do I install pfSense to hard drive so I can get the "pfSense kernel with ACPI off" to boot automatically everytime?
