When restoring a configuration to new hardware, you might get an "Interface mismatch detected" error, like so:

You're instructed to click 'Apply Changes'. There is no 'Apply Changes' button. So you click the 'Save' button instead.

    Then you get this screen:

"Please apply the settings in order to reboot?" There's no 'Apply Settings' button. Clicking 'Save' just gives you the same screen. So are your interface assignments saved/applied? Should you pick 'Reboot' from the Diagnostics menu?

It's not hard to figure out, but this really oughta get cleaned up a little.  ;)

That was fixed by PR https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/pull/2996
      which became commit https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/commit/21c18c3df11547aba172c10f95872dbd8682f7d9

I guess there has not been a release yet with that fix in it.

As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."

It's fixed in 2.3.1_5 and newer.

Ah, I see, thanks. I must've been on a slightly earlier build.
