VLAN DHCP Not Working
-
I can't seem to get DHCP to work on my VLAN.
I created a VLAN on the same port as my LAN named GUEST with tag 20. When I try and connect my computer to it (through a VLAN setup switch or directly) it connects be doesn't get an IP. If I use no VLAN it works fine. I created the firewall rule below. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks.

Your problem is most likely in your switch. TAG VLAN 20 to pfSense igb1 and plug your test host into an UNTAGGED port on VLAN 20.
The above is if you are actually not getting DHCP.
Your pass rules pass traffic to WAN net. WAN net is not the internet. It is the WAN subnet only.
The Whole Internet is destination any.

I just reset the router to factory settings. Set everything up again and it is working perfectly! :) Should have done that 6 hours ago….. I clearly screwed something up.

Yeah see the above about WAN net.
