Bandwidth consumption not adding up

I am using pfsense in a hyper-v environment.

My backup application crashplan is saying it is transmitting at 40-5- Mbps yet the WAN graph is only showing 4-5 Mbps.  Is this because the NIC's in the physical server are showing:
