Adding External CA

What is the appropriate way to add an external CA so that php cURL can utilize it to trust certs?

Added it in System / Certificate Manager / CAs to no avail.
Appending it to /usr/local/share/certs/ca-root-nss.crt works.

There must be a better way.  Hopefully one that survives  updates.

At the moment we don't have any better way to accomplish that goal. What is it that you need to fetch with cURL that needs a custom CA?
