I've trying to boot the pfSense installer on this device: http://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Nuc-Fanless-Mini-PC-J1900-quad-core-4-LAN-Windows-7-8-8-1-10-HTPC/32662060294.html

It's a Q1900 system, with 4 Intel NIC's with passive cooling: In other words, the perfect pfSense box.

The error i get is the same as some guy on the FreeBSD Mailing list, an error regarding vesa_configure:
      https://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-current/2015-December/059021.html
      https://people.freebsd.org/~jlh/vesa_panic.jpg

The error was eventually fixed in an upstream commit in the FreeBSD Kernel (i've verified this by booting the latest FreeBSD11-CURRENT ISO, which works fine).

I've filed a bugreport in the pfSense Redmine to get this patched in the current pfSense Release, but it was closed with the message to wait for pfSense 2.4.x which uses the FreeBSD 11 kernel.

Is there anyone which could help get this fixed in some way on the current version?

Haven't found any. I've asked the supplier, waiting for a response.
