Hi,

we are currently maintaining the nrpe package.
I will have a look at the plugin and see if we can add it to the package.

All the checks are actually coming from the nagios package but it should be possible to add additional scripts.

I will get back to you, there are a few other things that we want to fix in nrpe too.
