Old wireless router as ap. how do i access it? plz help
hello. just installed pfsense on extra pc and using my old wireless router with Ethernet ports only as ap for wireless and switch for my hardwired pcs. How do I access the old router from the browser so I can turn off dhcp on it? 192.168.1.1 is my lan of pfsense box. thnks.
Which is your old router's IP? Check it and change it assigning a fixed IP in the 192.168.1.0/24 subnet. You can temporary switch off pfSense and access your old router GUI as you did in the past and configure it.
192.168.1.1 was my old ip address. ok thanks i will assign fix ip to old router.

Make sure it's outside your pfsense DHCP range so you don't end up with a IP conflict.
