WAN Failover VoIP State Clearing When Link Back Up
-
I've done some searching on this topic and mast of what I could find was old information. So I want to see if there is an update on this problem specifically.
Setup: 2 WANs in a failover group. VoIP server on LAN. VPN server on LAN (for external phones).
Failover from WAN1 to WAN2 works great. Everything switches as it should.
Now, when WAN1 comes back up, all of the regular traffic switches back over just fine. Persistent SIP connections do not. I want them to re-establish on WAN1 again and I know how to kill the states manually.
So, my question: Is there a way to automatically kill the states and force the connections over to WAN1 when it comes back up?
