      Hi Guys,

I was setting up my new PFSense, added all my port forwards and static IPs. I then went to setup Traffic Shaping, I used the Wizard for dedicated WAN. I select MBits as the value to enter upload and download speed. I put 36 Down and 1.5 up. I went through he rest of the wizard. I press apply and it broke my pfsense. I could only access the console with a monitor to then use revert configuration, I lost some of my rules because the backups were a little out. Internet didnt work, no dhcp and ping was 6000ms plus

I have now reset the pfsense how I want it but without the traffic shaper, downloaded config. I havent tried it again as I don't want to go and plug the monitor back in again. Did it break my pfsense because I put a dot in the upload?

      Hope you guys can help
      Jonny

Without knowing the specific errors from the logs or console it's hard to say what might have happened.

Unless you have multiple WANs and LANs which are isolated, the "dedicated" wizard probably isn't what you want anyhow. Just use the multi wan/lan wizard and enter "1" for the interface count of each.
