PfSense 2.3.2 - squid & squidguard - LDAP - missing single sign on

  • Hi pfSense Pro’s,

I am new in using pfSense but do find it really smooth. But I do have one problem:
While implementing Office 365 and a whole lot of IP addresses/URLS being used for, me and my colleagues decided to create a new pfSense and use it as a proxy (squid & squidguard). Also we want to use authentication for squid with LDAP (which is working fine with several groups being approved and allowed to use for internet surfing).
But now my problem is, that we want to use single sign on so that no authentication popup will appear. The reason is simple: Office 365 does always need internet (verification – is the user allowed to us office 365 and is the subscription still OK).
All instructions which do have LDAP authentication with single sign on have been created before 2.3 has been released and the packages are now no longer available.
Does anyone of you have an idea how to solve this?

Thanks a lot for the help!
