When using the APU boards with AES-NI CPU support do i need to select under System/Advanced/Cryptographic Hardware
/AES-NI CPU Based-acceleration or is it automatic?

It defaults to None, however there is mention of IPSEC using the acceleration automatically when its there?

      IPsec
IPsec will take advantage of cryptodev automatically when a supported cipher is chosen.

If your board supports AES-NI, you must select it from that list yourself to enable the module.
