Just tried the latest build and it seems to break PHP fairly catastrophically.

No lan access. In the console, more than a screenful of PHP Warnings and finishes with:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function xml_parser_create() in /etc/inc/xmlparse.inc

At least make sure to save your config before trying firmware Fri Aug 22 09:23:00 EDT 2008.
Luckily I did this time, for once I was cautious.

Had to dig out my 1.2.1rc1 CD. Will manually install firmware from 20th Aug.

    Nick.

Same issue, box died. Reinstalled again, back to pfSense-Full-Update-1.2.1-RC1-20080820-2342. That build was good.

Confirmed. The XML module appears to be corrupted. We will look into this.

                  Same for this build: pfSense-Full-Update-1.2.1-RC1-20080823-0318

Box died, reinstalled, back to 20080820-2342, latest working build.

The snapshots work again. But beware of kernel crashes when you are using ipsec.

                    This is being looked into.

                        This should be fixed.
