Prevent External Access Points from shutting down
-
Hi all,
So our co-working space has 8 external access points and there was a time when they all rebooted at the same time. We had no internet for like 15 minutes, it was a disaster. I noticed that a couple or more access points would restart together from time to time, but never all at the same time.
After a while, they all reconnected on their own. But how do I prevent this from happening again?
Also, the second time it happened, I had to turn off/on the switch, and all access points reconnected after rebooting. What do you think could be the problem?
Than you so much in advance.
EDIT: Apologies if this thread is not in the correct category.

Well since it has nothing to do with pfsense at all, its kind of in the wrong forum all together ;) hehehe
How do you stop your neighbor from turning on and off their TV?? Pretty much same sort of question. What does pfsense have to do with connection problem with your AP, or it rebooting because? Are they AP managed by a controller? Or are they just old wifi routers your using has AP?
Some more details, might be able to help.

Yeah pretty much the wrong forum entirely. You didn't even give the make/model of the wifi gear.

Sorry guys ;D
Are they AP managed by a controller?
Yes!
Here are screenshots. IDK if these will help.

Again: What has pfSense to do with your APs rebooting even if they are controller managed? What you show is a (outdated) pfSense Dashboard without any WiFi whatsoever. So I don't see where pfSense has any influence on your APs.

So the neighbors keep shutting off the lights in their living room. Could you help me stop them from doing this, my microwave model is LG 100, it was made in 2014 and has buttons on the front with a table that spins in the middle.
