      Hi there,

I have a quite special problem what I try to describe here:
My setup consists of a cluster at a remote location with an openvpn connection back home to me.

The routing for my home net is done via ospf/quagga.

The cluster works very well and the routes are moved correctly between the respective active nodes.

Unfortunately I connect via the openvpn connection to the remote network and here I'm running in a problem:
I cant access the standby pfSense cluster member through the active node.

This could be solved with a so called "static floating route" to be placed on both cluster members with a metric higher that the one set by quagga. Typically I use 210 on my cisco boxes for this purpose.

Is there a way to configure a static route with a metric? or if not is there another way to achive the goal?

      Best,
      Bob
