At what point in update process is the GitSync on update performed?  The update settings page indicates "before reboot".  But that's not what I observe.

It appears to me that when doing an update with auto sync enabled the system:

    1. Downloads the update goods
    2. Reboots
    3. Extracts the update goods (tar ball etc.)
    4. Loads pfSense
    5. Performs GitSync

If this is the case then the system has been booted using the pre GitSync code rather than the latest code from git.

It seem to me that to full fill the intention of the Auto sync on update that the GitSync should be run right after extracting the update files and before loading pfSense (between steps 3 & 4).

    Thoughts?

    Thanks
