      Hi,

Currently running 2.1.3 on a pair of Firebox X500s and have another pair of X500s that I've just flashed with 2.3.2 - is there any way I can copy the settings over to save having to reconfigure the whole thing? I had considered restoring from backup but read that this wont work between these two versions.

      Thanks
      Pete

        says who?

in theory you could take a config from any older pfSense version and plug it into the latest and greatest.  (diagnostics–>backup&restore)

Try it. It will work fine. Particularly so if the interface names do not change.

Not sure where you read that you cannot load a 2.1.X config onto 2.3.2.
