Squid local cache not working

Does this mean once squid is ok. i keep seeing this tcp_miss/200 when ever i view my squid's /var/squid/logs/access.log. i really need to know if i can reduce this.
How to check squid caching working fine or not.
Using pfblockerNg and Squid together.

Looks like squid is working in general. Check the realtime view to verify that squid is processing web content. Increasing your hit rate is another matter altogether. This requires advanced usage of refresh_patterns in the dynamic config section. A lot of content these days is hard to cache.

yes realtime its processing every website but hit counts very very few..
can i use pfngblockerNG with squid proxy??
