My pfSense happens to be running on an appliance with a very large disk space.
Is there a way to access pfSense filesystems remotely by means other then https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/HOWTO:_Access_pfSense_filesystems_remotely_with_scp?

Yes, I know that there are strong arguments against combining network access appliance and file storage appliance.
      Yes, I read https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=10201.0

There is SCP and that is all.

It is not intended to be, nor can it be used as, a general purpose file server. Not without hacking things up in ways we don't support anyhow.

There are, however, ways to mount filesystems over SCP/SSH depending on your client OS.
