Would it be possible to automate a port forward rule for a device or devices that use the same port range?

IE two devices want 3074 udp - one will map 3074 to upnp and the other will grab 3075.  This all depends on which device is booted first of course so it would be convenient if at the same time the upnp ports are set that a matching rule is added to port forward, and when it expires  for it to automagically fall off.

Did you really check your cables?

That's up to the clients and UPnP. There isn't a way to automate port forwards in pfSense other than UPnP, and the port choice in UPnP is left to the client.

Alright, so the only way I can get it to work is to have each gaming computer in the gaming subnet to have a static ip and basically * ports in port forward for them.  Is this insane?

          Thanks for the reply!
