I'm trying to make a relatively secure laptop that I store passwords and cryptocoin info on. Mostly, it will be offline, but when it's online, I'd like EVERYTHING to go through the firewall, and have no chance of internet without it. My idea is to run PFSense in a VM on the laptop, and use a USB wifi adapter as the WAN connection, which would connect to my home network. Unfortunately, I don't know how to configure the USB Wifi adapter, as setup only sees the Virtualbox adapter.

Is this something that can be done with PFSense?

      Thanks!
