      Hello folks,

We have Netgate SG-8860 configured for two WANs and a LAN. The LAN interface is becoming a concern lately after we upgraded to the 2.3.x series. Observations are:

      1. Some workstations doesn't have internet access but some do. These are on both wired and wifi and it happens to random workstations.
      2. A reboot of the unit somehow does not fix #1.
      3. This is the constant tell: the unit cannot access the pfsense update server.

My workaround is to disable then enable the LAN interface which works all the time. The problem is that when we disable the LAN interface, we cannot access pfsense from the network to enable the LAN interface. We have to access it externally via one of the WAN interfaces and then enable the LAN interface from there. I am not sure if this is a hardware problem because it was working fine pre-2.3.x.

Has anyone here encountered this before?

      Thanks for your time.

Update: I've just upgraded to pfsense 2.3.2 release p1 and the unit rebooted and then i could not access some sites once more. I disabled and re-enabled the lan0 interface and everything was fine again.

        This a bug?
