I've seen several people ask the same question.

Does anybody know how to add a exception for a specific LAN IP? So that this IP does not use Squid+cache and all other ip's in the network do?

In transparent squid not possible via GUI.

            /usr/local/pkg/squid.inc
Adding you exclided IP (not nat …. IP ...) before transparent options line. And from GIU re-save config.

                Hi,

Will this option exclude the IP from squidguard too?

                  • If Client IP not use proxy. then this not use SG too.
                  • For exclude Client IP from SG need create ACL for this IP and 'allow all' in 'Dest Rules'
                    Look tutorials bellow.

Awesome, can you tell me how to do this in a production environment? I don't want to cause any problems or issues?

I'm missing an update feature in the packages page.  Should I delete squid and re-add?

Re-added/installed squid, the new option is listed.

Only now my proxy server isn't working at all it seems?

                      Also my lightsquid stopped working?

you can update the packages by using the packages menu and then selecting "update XML" you do not need to deinstall / reinstall the whole package…
and for your squid not working, please have a look, if all is configured properly... i test my package changes extensively before making them public so there is little chance for something going wrong...
