From a server on the local subnet, I can ping / nmap servers on the remote subnet

But from the pfSense server itself, I can't connect to the remote servers. I can connect to the servers on the same subnet.

I want to configure a 2nd LDAP server in pfSense. That one is on the remote subnet.

    Please help me out.

The problem is solved! I found the solution here:

      https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Why_can%27t_I_query_SNMP,_use_syslog,_NTP,_or_other_services_initiated_by_the_firewall_itself_over_IPsec_VPN
