Hey, ive been trying to setup a VPN for some time now. Ever since pptp had been removed (for good reason) ive been struggling to get any kind of VPN working. Ive looked into L2TP/IPSec and also OpenVPN.

My preference lies with L2TP/IPSec. Ive tried to follow this guides:

      https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/L2TP/IPsec
      https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/IKEv2_with_EAP-MSCHAPv2

Both didnt work. I need the VPN to work with IOS, Windows 10 and Android.
If someone could push me in the right direction, that would be wonderful.

      Thanks,
      Sander

Openvpn works just fine with those.. Click through the wizard, install the openvpn connect client on our ios/android devices.  Either run the package from the export package for your windows client or just install on your own and put in the config.

            L2TP/IPsec is dead/dying. Use OpenVPN.

IPsec is dying? Did you tell the world already?
But I agree with PPTP & L2TP, no doubt.
