Dear Guys, can anyone share a good pppoe server setup??
Ive setup pppoe server on opt2 interface having ip (192.168.200.1/24)
and enabled the server on 192.168.200.1 ip with options to distrubute ips (192.168.200.0/29) starting ip 192.168.200.200
and I have added the firewall rule to allow all traffic.
the problem is that windows client cannot show up reaching the pppoe server and also I tried tplink device tried to do pppoe auth and nothing shows up.
      Am I missing anything?

            Hi.

I have not a PPPoE server at my pfSense, but maybe this help you:

Via shell , sniff trafic with tcpdump

            tcpdump -i em0 -s 0 -w /tmp/file-to-see-with-wireshark.pcap

It's dead simple. There isn't much to debug or much to go wrong. Most of the time any error is from an incorrect password.
