I can see that alot of other people has this problem as well, my setup is just "a little" special.
We are Running Rapid spanning tree Protocol RPST to do the failover as it seems that CARP dosnt owrk for transparrent Firewalls.

    |Manage interface
Internet connection –--- Provider Router ----- Transparrent FW ----- LAN SW
                                                  |                              |sync                  |
Internet connection ----- Provider Router ----- Transparrent FW ----- LAN SW
                                                                                  |Manage interface

As you can see the firewall has 4 interfaces where it is transparrent between WAN and LAN.
    Running PFSense 2.2.6

My question is now im getting an error for SYNC'ing
An error code was received while attempting XMLRPC sync with username admin https://[IP]:443 - Code 6: The requested method didn't return an XML_RPC_Response object
from one PFSense i can ping the other's SYNC interface IP and same back.
Why am i getting this error?

I too am receiving this error that I believe is related to PHP-FPM

Sometimes if you restart php-fpmd service in the secondary node the SYNC completes. I sometimes need to reboot the FW in order to get the config syncronized.
