So i have had a problem getting my transparent squid proxy through my OpenVPN connection, So basically I want Web Traffic -> Squid -> OpenVPN And what i always get is Web Traffic -> Squid -> WAN If i disable squid everything goes out the OpenVPN connection as the rules state, I've read about tcp_outgoing_address but when you set it to the OpenVPN address whenever the OpenVPN connection goes down it comes back up with a new IP and everything stops going through OpenVPN. Any help would be awesome.

      Thanks

I could be wrong but I don't think that Squid can cache something that it cannot read because of the encryption.
