Load external module for squid based on ecap

Hi.
I faced with task to load external module for squid because I need page titles log and as I know squid itself doesn't provide this feature.
In ordinary install (linux, squid) this soft https://github.com/redneon/squid-ecap-pagetitle can be simply compiled and loaded via squid.conf

So, is it true that if this module will be compiled in FreeBSD, I can load it in pfsense? Is it generally allowed/supported to do such things?
