      Hi all,

I've successfully setup the Mobile Warrior IPSEC VPN and connected to my network, browsed internal sites e.g. NAS, PFSENSE and other services running internally.

I have just installed the ShrewSoft client and set it up as per the PFsense guide and I can't connect to those same sites despite the client saying the tunnel is up and I have the right IP address.

Is this a known bug?  Has anyone experienced this issue and there is a known config item I'm missing.  Very frustrating :)

      Cheers

      Willo

Well I'd say the Shrewsoft thing is pretty much dead.

          Hi Willo,

I'd forget the last posters reply which was very unhelpful!  I had version 2.2.2 set up here and was connecting without issue with the Shrewsoft client.  Then, I had the bright idea of updating to the latest version 2.3.2 update.  Now my IPSEC tunnel gets established and connected but I can no longer seemingly pass any data from the client my site at home.  I see there are a bunch of people having issues with IPSEC and version 2.3.2.  If you've updated to that also, I would have a look.  Otherwise, I would say it is something in your set up in either the Shrewsoft side or pFSense side and can assure you there is nothing wrong with using Shrewsoft as a VPN client.  I'm sorry I can't provide more guidance at this time as I am trying to sort out my own issue and am new to pFSense myself.  I may put in a post of my own with my specific problem if I can't find anything of relevance.

            Thank you, much appreciated.

I'll continue to plug along.  My mobile phone has stopped connecting now for some reason, nothing in any settings has changed, just not connecting.  Rebooted PFsense, but no joy.

When I have time, i'll look further into it.

            Thank you

            Willo
