      Hi Guys,

I am a newbie into networking and servers and have watched so many youtube videos on networking. I have been running a small test web sever to learn but want to make it a production server. I found pfsense through some of the tutorials i have watched and am trying to set it up on an old desktop I have laying around. I have no problems setting up pfsense on the system. I have ran into trouble getting my internet through to the pfsense server. I have a HG659 NBN router and a bob2 router to use but am unable to get either set up to run. I am having trouble getting either of them to go to bridge mode and allow the internet to come through to the pfsense box.

I am unable to get them to allocate the external ip address to the pfsense box. I have tried for 2 days and watch so many tutorials on this so any help would be greatful. The HG659 runs on a 192.168.1.1 network and the bob2 runs on a 10.1.1.1 network and cannot get them to work.

As I said I am a newbie to the network world and would like to know the best way to set them up to work. I would like to be able to run a laptop with vmware for the web servers and another laptop running a plex server. I have about 25 wifi devices between all the family and a hardwired desktop. I also have 2 printers I need to run on the network too. I will be updating to a server rack and networking switches in the next 12 months but need to know the best way to set them up as a network. My daughters friends are always here on the wifi network so I would like to be able to set up a guest wifi network too.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
