Problem in squid while on failover

Dear All,
I am using  PFSense as proxy server with multi-WAN. I have Enabled Squid as transparent proxy. It works fine while WAN is up. If the WAN link is down browsing stops but everything else (RDC VPN) works fine on failover link. i have to restart the machine or stop squid to browse pages.

Please suggest a solution.

I believe that Squid does not support a multi-wan environment (load balance/failover). I will check on this and get back to you…
