    I've used ddclient to update dyndns from linux boxes.  One really nice feature is that it emails me a status report if my IP changes or if it performed a forced refresh.  Can Pfsense do this?  It would be a nice feature.

      dns-o-matic can do this for you, and pfsense can work with dns-o-matic.

        Thanks.  I just signed up but it would still be a nice feature in pfsense.

          Post a bounty if you want it bad enough.  :)

            @thekod:

            Post a bounty if you want it bad enough.  :)

            The economy is pretty bad right now.  A bounty I could afford wouldn't attract anyone  :(

              Try this on for size.
              Run this

              pkg_add -r http://files.pfsense.org/packages/All/sendmail-8.13.8.tbz

              Then add a mail(); function call to /etc/inc/dyndns.class…I'd do it for you, but I don't have time to incorporate the GUI...
