So i installed the darkstat package, but there appears to be a glitch with it in the web GUI.

When i go to darkstat settings page the first option is enable it but the spacing/formatting for this box is incorrect and the tick box for enable is not on the screen, just the very right edge of the tickbox on the left margin, not enough to actually click on and enable it. The rest of the settings are formatted correctly and function but the enable box is not able to be selected.

When i try and start it from the services page it fails, im assuming because this damn tick box is not set to enable.

So how to i enable this from the command line?

Not really sure what glitch are you seeing where. The checkbox works perfectly fine here. Wipe your browser cache perhaps.

ill take a pic when i get home and post it, but on mine it says enable on the right of the box not the left, and the box is off the screen except a few pixels of the border.

This is a CSS/theme bug. (Switch to the Red theme temporarily to tick the checkbox.)

Which OS/Browser version(s) do you see this with? I am unable to reproduce.

Would you try a different browser please?

                Als ik kan

That was latest version of Chrome running on Andriod  6.0.1 on my Galaxy S7 Edge. Its the same on the stock samsung browser as well as firefox. Ill try from my gaming PC when i get home but ive used chrome for everything so far no issues.

Ive used Chrome ever since installing pfsense a few weeks ago to use the web interface and never had issues so far, ive setup snort, squid as a transparent proxy with clamAV as well as setup numerous firewall rules and openVPN. Its worked flawlessly, its surprising its causing a issue with darkstat tick box lol.

So far this will be the only time chrome has let me down, i do have SSH setup so i can SSH into the pfsense box from my phone to if changing the theme doesnt work and i do need to go command line on it to solve it.

                  Thanks guys.

I think last version of darkstat has broken something, I have similar issues since i did last update today: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=124826.0

Your issue this has absolutely NOTHING to do with this GUI glitch. Stick to your own thread, TIA.

Sorry for posting here, but my problem is similar, because my darkstat is uninstalled but there is still "Darkstat Settings" under Diagnostics menu. It is obvious that last updates has corrupted something.

No, your issue has completely NOTHING with the problem the OP has posted about here. The problem here is a misaligned checkbox in the GUI. Stock hijacking other people's threads with OT crap.

So i tried this from my gaming PC and the menu is normal. So the issue must be in the way the menu is programmed for mobile web sites.

Because if i use opera browser on my phone in desktop mode where it loads desktop version of the websites it also works.

@sbeaver could help with that, perhaps… There's really nothing that could be done for the package except for adding the description, which has already been done. The package code is the same, mobile or not. Just a XML file.
