      Ok my pfsense router ip is 192.168.1.1 and I set my asus router I set to 192.168.1.2 and I get a message on pfsense saying ip address 192.168.1.2 is being used by or overlaps with: LAN (192.168.1.1/24)

          More information needed.

          Sounds like you're trying to add another interface and give it the same subnet which in not valid.

          How are you connecting those things? How is the 'wireless router' configured?
