      Is there a painless way to delete interfaces? I'm using vlan trunks BTW. I don't see an option to delete in the GUI and the CLI looks like it wants to clear the entire interface list and start over and I'm afraid of the effect that would have on a configured, working system.

          Duh :-[… I thought "(assign)" was how I got into the mess in the first place - created unneeded interfaces - so I hadn't tried that menu item since then out of fear of making it worse... painless, if you don't count embarrassment.
