Fresh community install, all default rules, no firewall active on the PC.  I can ping yahoo.com or 8.8.8.8 but when I try to browse a website the request times out. Thoughts?

Hopefully someone can come up with an answer here as I am having the same issue. Being someone who has used pfsense in the past, I haven't had this issue before, but it has been about a year since I have used it, so new versions and such.

NOTE: This is a fresh setup, if I didn't mention it below, it hasn't been changed from the default settings that were done in the setup wizard.

Let me add some more info and things I have tried.

                1. I can ping WAN ip addresses and dns names from pfsense AND clients
                2. I can get a response to "curl portquiz.net:80" on pfsense, but it times out on clients (or any other method of web access)
                3. The default gateway is set correctly on clients (see number 1)
                4. Tried adding 2 extra rules to the lan interface (https://cloud.vrelk.com/index.php/s/B96UV3PfdDFyfiJ/download)
                5. Went into advance settings and enabled Pure NAT, still didn't work. Switched outbound NAT settings from auto to manual, still nothing.
                6. Reinstalled to get rid of customization, still didn't work.
                7. Logs only show a bunch of blocked UDP requests, no TCP requests are shown as blocked or allowed.

8 ) In regards to #2, I started a packet capture and it was showing the outgoing tcp request, but nothing coming back. I checked again for ICMP and it was showing the outgoing request and the response.
                9) Installed Untangle using the same interfaces, worked flawlessly (stupid paid modules, luckily it was just a test setup)

                • NOTE: for the screenshots of windows, I also used ubuntu server to test. It says I have internet access in windows because it is dual interface and the other is connected directly to the internet.

I asked on IRC and got an answer pretty quickly, and it worked!

<piba-nl>vrelk, hardware offloading , turn it off
<vectr0n>system -> advanced -> networking, if unsure of where it is :)</vectr0n></piba-nl>
